In the early 2000s Rock Karaoke UK was the largest alternative karaoke in the country, with weekly gigs in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness, as well as monthly events in Belfast.
Winner of the 2004 Best Bar None Award for ‘Best Regular Night’, and with a dedicated catalogue of over 8,000 alternative karaoke songs, Martin Bannon and a team of DJs covered rock & roll, prog rock, heavy metal, grunge, nu-metal, emo and everything in between.
Now in a more modest form, Rock Karaoke still entertains rock fans new and old on a fortnightly basis in Inverness, with occasional forays to other cities for special events.
